Morgan Ashurst undertook the construction of new PharmaChem and Analytical Laboratories for AstraZeneca in Loughborough.

The laboratories are used primarily to focus on the treatment of diseases of the respiratory, central nervous and cardiovascular systems as well as the development of new inhalation aerosol technology devices.

The project features four connected buildings comprising two laboratory blocks linked by a central node building and an extension to Astra’s existing chemistry building, also built by Morgan Ashurst, with an integral link to the new facilities.
