National Bio Centre

Morgan Ashurst carried out the design and construction of a facility to support new and existing biotechnology companies. The Northwest Regional Development Agency wanted a facility to lead the next wave of biopharmaceutical development offering the full range of services necessary to take all biopharmaceutical products from proof of concept through to early stage clinical trials.

The facility incorporates three Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing suites fully equipped for production and purification of biopharmaceutical medicines vaccines to the latest GMP guidelines.  The flexibility of the design allows a diverse range of processing techniques, along with quality control and analytical laboratories capable of performing a range of batch release and in-process testing.
