Morgan Ashurst undertook the design and construction of the renovation of two thirds of a Grade I* listed building for Boots Healthcare International in Beeston, Nottingham.
The ‘D6’ production building was originally designed in the 1930s by the engineer Sir Owen Williams for the manufacture, storage and despatch of 'dry' products - powders, tablets and lozenges.
Following feasibility studies undertaken by the integrated team, Morgan Ashurst undertook the design, construction management, programming and cost control of the refurbishment of 7,000 m2.
The building remained fully operational throughout the construction period.
