The Michael Smith Building

Morgan Ashurst provided Manchester University with research facilities for biological scientists, pharmacists and medical researchers. The four-storey facilities were developed in two phases and designed to take into account the changing needs of science in the future.

The design features a generic layout, which will help to reduce future reconfiguration costs. Morgan Ashurst was the main contractor and provided structural engineering design services.
