Thomas Beckett Secondary School

The project involved the refurbishment and phased extensions to the existing Thomas Beckett Secondary School in a fully live environment.

Additional space was provided by Morgan Ashurst through five phased extensions to the operational facilities, including extensive internal refurbishment to the existing school amenities.  The state-of-the-art new teaching facility includes a library, teaching blocks for design and technology and geography, a new sports hall, refurbished auditorium and a new dining room.

The phasing was scheduled to integrate equally into the school term period and exam time-table. The project interfaced with live teaching environments, so constant liaison with the school in terms of programme, construction activities and health and safety was paramount
