Cambridge Water

Morgan Ashurst constructed a new three-storey headquarters for Cambridge Water Company Plc. The original front façade was retained as a feature of the existing 1930s pumping station. This was achieved by applying a linear conservatory effectively encapsulating the original facade. The conservatory also acts as an energy and noise buffer zone. All materials were selected for their sustainability and recycling potential.

The building won a Certificate of Excellence under the Cambridge City Council’s Considerate Contractor Scheme.
