Project Red Rose

Morgan Ashurst constructed this award-winning, six-storey office building in the centre of Barnsley as part of the Remaking Barnsley Renaissance programme.ú

The building includes 120 individual business units with a glazed atrium at its centre. The heating system utilises bio-mass, energy-saving boilers and incorporates natural cooling via exposed concrete soffits. A BREEAM rating of “very good” was achieved for the project.
